Outpatient opioid treatment built around MAT

Integral Health’s outpatient treatment program allows clients to get the support they need for opioid use, including the use of heroin or prescription opioid pain medications, while remaining in the community. The MAT program includes methadone maintenance and buprenorphine to help reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Specialized services are also offered for pregnant and postpartum women.

Medication paired with counseling and practical skills

Treatment extends beyond MAT with one-on-one counseling and additional programming. Therapy sessions focus on recovery, relapse prevention, and treatment planning. Various approaches may be used, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed counseling. Support groups, including Methadone Anonymous, are offered in addition to education on drug use and HIV, as well as life skills training.

Medical screening and health education

Clients have access to health-focused services alongside addiction treatment. Substance use assessments, mental health screenings, and drug screenings are available, as well as testing for HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and sexually transmitted diseases.
