Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults who need treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns; want access to multiple levels of care within one organization; prefer a structured treatment environment with medical and clinical support; value comfort-focused amenities and a more upscale residential setting; want to remain connected to the same treatment community as they progress through care; are seeking gender-specific programming or LGBTQ+ support; and have private insurance or can self-pay.

  • Not a fit if: Individuals are seeking Medicaid, Medicare, or state-funded treatment options; prefer a wilderness, faith-based, or alternative recovery model rather than a clinically focused program; require fully private accommodations; or are looking for a less structured treatment environment with minimal clinical programming.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Prior to admission: Before arrival clients undergo a 15-minute pre-screen assessment and insurance verification. Clinical staff assess both substance use and mental health concerns. Same-day admissions may be available.
  • Treatment plan development: Upon admission, therapists do a more thorough clinical assessment to identify underlying mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family-of-origin concerns.
  • Care plan adjustments: As clients move through different levels of care their care plan is reassessed and adjusted to meet their changing needs.

Who you will meet with

  • Clinical team: Clients may work with therapists, counselors, and case managers who provide therapy, treatment planning, recovery support, and discharge planning throughout treatment.
  • Medical and psychiatric support: Doctors manage medical care. Nurses and nurse practitioners offer continuous monitoring and support. Treatment addresses both medical and mental health needs. Additional support is available during detox and other recovery stages as required.

Typical schedule

  • Structured programming: Clinical programming generally runs from approximately 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is structured intentionally to keep clients engaged throughout the day. This may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, life skills development, and treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Mornings: In the mornings, clients wake up, have breakfast, participate in morning meditation, mindfulness exercises, and group therapy.
  • Daytime: During the day clinical programming can include group therapy, individual therapy, educational classes, art therapy, and music therapy.
  • Evening: In the evenings, clients participate in AA and NA meetings, 12-step recovery groups, and additional education classes.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Living arrangements: Clients stay in hotel-like semi-private rooms with two beds per room and a private in-room bathroom. Rooms have TVs and the beds have therapeutic mattresses.
  • Campus Environment: The 10-acre campus has separate areas for men and women in addition to space for outdoor recreation and activities.
  • Food and dining: In addition to chef-prepared meals that include multiple meal choices and healthy options, snacks, and coffee and beverage stations are accessible throughout the day.
  • Recreation and Wellness Amenities: Amenities include a fitness center, movie theater, game rooms, a basketball court, common lounges, reading spaces, and outdoor recreational activities. Clients may also participate in massage therapy, aqua therapy, and other wellness-focused activities during treatment.

Aftercare

  • Step-down care: Clients may transition to PHP, outpatient treatment, and aftercare services as they progress through recovery.
  • Continuing care: Clients can receive aftercare planning, referrals for outpatient treatment, recovery meetings, peer support, and ongoing connection to the treatment community after discharge.
