Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults who benefit from structure, routine, and accountability during recovery; need detox and continued residential or outpatient care within one system; need medications for addiction treatment (MAT); are seeking support for co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma, PTSD, or relapse history; want specialized programming for veterans, LGBTQIA+ clients, or faith-based recovery; or are looking for a more comfortable, resort-style treatment setting with private-pay or commercial insurance options.

  • Not a fit if: People seeking highly independent or self-directed treatment; prefer a very small or boutique rehab setting; want primarily alternative or non-clinical recovery approaches; are seeking mental health treatment without substance use treatment; or are uncomfortable with frequent group participation and structured daily programming.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Admissions and assessment: Screening at initial admission usually takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to evaluate a client's substance use history, mental health issues, physical health, past traumas, and their current recovery needs. These evaluations can also involve drug and alcohol screening, infectious disease screening, as well as an evaluation for any other co-occurring disorders that exist with a client.
  • Individualized treatment planning: An individual treatment plan will be developed to address their specific clinical needs, mental health symptoms, trauma history, their present level in the recovery process, and long-term recovery goals. A client may also be placed within one of the specialized tracks, such as trauma recovery, a veteran track, LGBTQIA+ support or Christian programming.
  • Progression through levels of care: The development of a client's care plan follows a progression from the least restrictive to the most restrictive levels of care. This process includes detox, residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and aftercare. Movement through these levels depends on clinical stability, need, and a client's ability to function independently without support from a higher level of care.

Who you will meet with

  • Medical and psychiatric staff: Throughout care, individuals will be working with doctors, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and a team of nurses to receive support for their medical issues, manage medications, and to monitor them at all times.
  • Specialized and peer support: Clients may work with various professionals based on their care needs. This can include trauma-focused clinicians, veteran-focused staff, and LGBTQIA+ support providers.
  • Therapists and recovery staff: Along with individual therapy, clients work with licensed therapists, addiction counselors, group facilitators, and case management staff throughout their treatment. Care can include group programs, addiction counseling, recovery support, and care coordination during treatment.

Typical schedule

  • Daily programming and recovery structure: The daily schedule is very structured. Clients usually have a set wake-up time. Meals are provided by the facility. Participation in individual and group therapy sessions with staff clinicians is expected. They also take part in educational programs like psychoeducation, recovery-based learning, relapse prevention, and trauma-based learning. Individuals can also join extra skill-building groups, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and emotional regulation groups, during the day.
  • Peer support and daily routine: Peer interaction, shared meals, recovery meetings, and accountability activities are included in the daily treatment plan. Twelve-step meetings are included in weekly programming

Living experiences and amenities

  • Campus environment and accommodations: Located on a former spa property, this campus has been designed to be more comfortable and less institutional compared to traditional hospital-style settings. During treatment, clients will have access to private rooms, upscale community spaces, shaded courtyard space, a swimming pool, lounge areas and other outdoor meeting spaces.
  • Recovery atmosphere and community living: The time between programming can include access to outdoor spaces, lounges, and community areas. These are designed to support routine, consistency, and connection during recovery.

Aftercare

  • Step-down treatment and continued support: Clients can continue care through partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and group meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA). Continued therapy sessions, and relapse prevention planning as well as other recovery support services are available in order to maintain individual progress made during residential treatment.
  • Alumni and recovery engagement: Alumni programs and recovery tools help clients keep their connections and support after they finish the program. In addition to this, the facility offers a recovery app that allows users to check in, access relapse prevention resources, and stay engaged in recovery after treatment. The facility has a “90-Day Promise.” This offers eligible clients extra recovery support at home during their transition.

Pre-Admissions Experience

We conducted a series of pre-admissions calls, the most recent on May 19, 2026 to evaluate response time, transparency, and patient experience.

When we reached out to the facility, the admissions process sounded structured but easy to navigate. After a short wait, we spoke with someone and they explained the levels of care, treatment tracks, and the admissions process in a clear and friendly manner. They explained how treatment plans fit each client’s needs. They also answered questions about logistics, scheduling, and insurance verification. They did all this without feeling rushed or overly sales-focused. The call also mentioned that outpatient admissions might be available quickly, based on clinical fit and availability.
