Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Need medical withdrawal management and residential substance use treatment in one location; looking for trauma-informed care; need to continue working while in treatment; want private room options; have private insurance, TRICARE, or are able to self-pay.

  • Not a fit if: Require acute, hospital-level care; looking for outpatient-only treatment; not willing to participate in clinical therapy and structured programming; have Medicaid or are uninsured and unable to self-pay.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Assessments and personalization: When clients arrive, they take part in an intake evaluation with a master’s-level therapist. Treatment plans are adapted to each individual client’s needs.
  • Daily reassessment: The multidisciplinary treatment team meets every day to go over client progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

Who you will meet with

  • Master’s-level therapists: Provide weekly one-on-one therapy sessions.
  • Medical staff: A medical provider and nurses are on-site 24/7 to monitor clients and attend to health concerns.
  • Case managers: Work with clients from the start of treatment to develop a practical aftercare plan.

Typical schedule

  • Detox: Clients are supervised around the clock by medical staff. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed as needed for safety and to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. This phase usually lasts about 7 to 10 days.
  • Residential care: Once clients are stabilized and transition to residential care, they participate in daily group therapy sessions that involve clinical and creative therapies.
  • Approaches: Programming can include yoga, music therapy, relapse prevention classes, mental health education, and coping skills workshops.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Private or shared accommodations: Most clients share a bedroom with one other person, and each has a private bathroom. Private bedrooms are available for an extra fee. Every room has a flat-screen television.
  • Meals and gathering spaces: Clients receive healthy, chef-prepared meals and have access to snacks. The facility has both indoor and outdoor relaxation lounges for peers to socialize.

Aftercare

  • Early discharge planning: Preparing for life after treatment begins immediately. Case managers work with clients to set up next steps that work for individual needs.
  • Appointment scheduling: Appointments with outside providers, including outpatient programs, can be coordinated before clients leave treatment so there are no gaps in continuing care.

How we research treatment facilities

Across the site, our team has conducted over 1,000 pre-admissions calls to better understand the patient experience, interviewed facility clinical leaders, performed facility background checks, and compared our information against trusted public data sources.

Our research process begins with data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), accrediting bodies including The Joint Commission and CARF, government licensing agencies, and other trusted sources. From there, our team conducts significant original research, including:

- Pre-admissions calls: We speak with admissions staff to get a candid picture of patient experience.

- Background checks: We review complaints from past clients, media reports, actions taken by accrediting bodies, and positive recognition from notable organizations.

- Clinical interviews: We have in-depth conversations with clinical leadership, often lasting up to one hour, that give us a better understanding of clinical care.

- Data partnerships: We ingest and analyze exclusive data that provides information about in-network insurance status, cost, and more.

Research varies by facility. Each facility profile shows which research steps we completed and when each step was last performed. Learn more about our research process and background checks.

How we evaluate treatment facilities

These data help us develop a Trust Score for each facility—a simple letter grade that helps you assess how much confidence to place in a facility based on the information available to us. Trust Score considers accreditation, operating history, notable recognition, and concerns identified during our background check. Our Trust Score is an objective rating that is never influenced by advertiser payment. Learn more about our Trust Score methodology.

A Trust Score is a starting point, not a guarantee of treatment quality or outcomes. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct facility information.
