Peer-Guided Care

Crossroads – East has served men in Phoenix since 1960 with a peer-guided approach, where people in recovery support one another through shared experience and accountability. This model fosters connection, structure, and practical skill-building so residents can return to daily life with confidence.

The 45-Day Right Track Program

Right Track combines individual and group counseling, weekly drug and alcohol testing, and daily recovery meetings. Six days each week are devoted to psychoeducation on relapse prevention, coping strategies, conflict resolution, and life skills, with family involvement and aftercare planning built in.

Living Environment and Amenities

The East Campus includes 12 fully furnished four-bed units with shared bathrooms and personal storage, a commercial kitchen and dining hall with meals provided, free laundry, and a computer for job searches. A large courtyard and a 200-person meeting hall host daily recovery groups and community events, extending support beyond the residential program.

Medications and Co-Occurring Support

Residents have access to medications for addiction treatment, mental health services, and health education. Programming supports men with co-occurring conditions and offers specialized help for veterans, older adults, individuals with trauma histories, and those involved with the justice system, alongside peer mentoring, recovery coaching, and vocational supports.

Access and Affordability

As a private nonprofit, Crossroads emphasizes affordability with payment assistance and scholarships, and offers transportation assistance to help clients get to care.
