Residential Care Built for Young Adult Women

Cornerstone Recovery is a 24-hour residential substance use treatment program designed specifically for young adult women. The setting is structured and recovery-focused, with quick access to public services and transportation.

Wraparound Support Grounded in Real Life

Care is driven by the participant and informed by family and community support when appropriate. The model is designed to be sensitive to cultural and language needs and to build on each person’s strengths and existing resources. Length of stay is based on each individual’s need.

Trauma-Responsive Therapy and Daily Skill-Building

Programming includes individual and group therapy, daily psychoeducation and skills groups, and trauma, recovery, and safety groups. Treatment approaches may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, substance use disorder counseling, anger management, and 12-step facilitation. On-site yoga, mindfulness, and stress reduction activities, along with an expressive arts program, add additional ways to practice coping and emotional regulation.

Practical Steps Toward Stability and Independence

Cornerstone Recovery emphasizes transition planning alongside treatment. Participants can be connected to peer leadership opportunities, volunteer roles, education, employment assistance, and transitional financial support. The program also offers services such as case management, housing-related supports, social skills development, and help accessing community services, useful for rebuilding stability after treatment.

Aftercare Planning and Continued Support

Aftercare planning is part of the program structure, with follow-up support and connection to recovery coaches and other recovery resources. The facility also provides overdose education and naloxone education. For clients already using medications for addiction treatment (MAT), the program accepts participation when medications are prescribed elsewhere.
