Nature-Based Recovery for Teen Boys
ARCH Academy offers residential treatment for adolescent boys navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Nestled on a 67-acre wooded campus in Kingston Springs, the nonprofit program combines evidence-based care and 12-step principles with family engagement and accredited academics. Teens receive comprehensive, age-appropriate care that fosters accountability, personal growth, and connection.
Structured Three-Phase Program
Treatment follows a phased clinical model that meets teens where they are in recovery. The first phase focuses on medical and psychological assessment, detox support, and family education. The second phase deepens therapeutic work through daily group sessions, 12-step participation, and coping skill development. The final phase supports reintegration with leadership training, academic goals, and relapse-prevention planning, ensuring a smooth transition back home or to continuing care.
Integrated Academics and Experiential Therapies
Onsite accredited schooling allows residents to continue academic progress while receiving treatment. Lessons are coordinated with therapy to strengthen focus and confidence. Experiential therapies, such as equine therapy, art and music therapy, ropes courses, and mindfulness practice, help teens express emotions, build trust, and reconnect with healthy activities that support recovery.
Family-Centered and Mission-Driven Care
Recognizing addiction as a family disease, ARCH integrates weekly family therapy and educational programming that rebuild communication and strengthens support systems. As part of the Cumberland Heights nonprofit network, the center includes access to psychiatric care, medication management, and post-treatment follow-up. This mission-driven approach empowers teens and families to recover together in a safe, structured environment that promotes lifelong healing.
