A Private Long Island Campus Designed for Privacy and Routine

Wellbridge is located on a 96-acre wooded campus in Calverton, New York, created to support focused treatment in a calm, private setting. Clients may stay in private or shared rooms and have access to spaces that support daily structure and well-being, including walking and biking trails, a creative arts studio, lounge areas, and a 10,000-square-foot wellness and fitness center. Meals emphasize balanced nutrition with locally sourced ingredients, and a certified kosher kitchen is available for clients who need it.

Medically Supervised Detox and Residential Care

Treatment can begin with withdrawal management (detox) delivered in a 24/7 supervised medical setting. During this stage, clinicians monitor symptoms and vital signs and use medications when appropriate to help manage withdrawal and support safety and stabilization. After detox, clients can transition into residential treatment, continuing with therapy and medical and psychiatric consultation as needed. The program treats substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Evidence-Based Therapies and Medication Support

Clinical services include evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, motivational incentives, relapse prevention, and trauma-related counseling. Clients may also participate in creative arts therapies, recreational therapy, and wellness programming such as yoga, Medication support is available when clinically appropriate, including medications for addiction treatment (MAT) and medications for mental health conditions.

Discharge Planning, Continuing Care, and Alumni Connection

Planning for life after residential treatment is built into the care process. Services include discharge planning and continuing care connections, with follow-up after discharge and overdose education (including naloxone education). Clients can also stay connected through alumni programming and virtual support groups, offering ongoing community and accountability as recovery continues.
