24/7 Detox and Inpatient Stabilization in Westhampton Beach
Seafield Center’s Westhampton Beach location provides residential substance use treatment, including medically supported withdrawal management (detox) and short-term residential care. Services are available for men and women ages 16 and older, with 24/7 staffing for people who need a higher level of support to safely stabilize and step away from day-to-day triggers.
Integrated Care for Substance Use and Co-Occurring Mental Health Needs
Treatment is designed for people navigating substance use alongside mental health concerns. The program offers psychiatric evaluation and counseling services, with therapy approaches that include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, trauma-related counseling, and 12-step work. For clients who may benefit, the center offers medications for addiction treatment (MAT) as part of medically monitored care. Individual, group, and family counseling are available, along with screening and testing options (including substance use and mental health screening, and infectious disease testing and education).
Group Programming Tailored to Specific Experiences
Clients participate in gender-specific groups designed for men’s and women’s specific needs. The program also offers dual-focused groups for concerns such as depression, anxiety, and other co-occurring disorders. Specialty groups may be offered based on community needs, including groups for LGBTQIA+ clients, eating disorders, and people impacted by domestic violence. Additional support is available for specific populations such as young adults, veterans, active duty service members, and pregnant/postpartum women.
Wellness-Focused Supports
Alongside clinical programming, Seafield incorporates wellness services that can help clients build routines and coping skills during early recovery. Options include acupuncture, meditation, yoga, Pilates, recreation therapy, music workshops, nutritional counseling, and spiritual guidance. The campus is set on six acres near Westhampton Beach and includes amenities like a fitness center, gardens, a recreation room, and basketball and volleyball courts, with buffet-style meals prepared by in-house chefs.
Discharge Planning, Aftercare, and Ongoing Connection
Planning for the next step begins during treatment. Discharge planning and aftercare/continuing care are provided, along with overdose education and naloxone support and outcome follow-up after discharge. Alumni can also stay connected through ongoing community support, including a private online group and alumni events.
