Men’s Transitional Housing

Designed for adult men who have completed inpatient treatment and need a structured next step before returning to independent living, the program offers a stable, substance-free environment where clients can regain routine and rebuild daily life skills. The home setting includes shared bedrooms, common living spaces, and outdoor areas that support a quieter pace of recovery.

Counseling, Groups, and Recovery Meetings

Clients complete at least five clinical activities each week, blending individual counseling, group therapy, and educational sessions. Weekly individual counseling allows clients to work one-on-one with a counselor on triggers, relapse warning signs, and personal goals. The house hosts two Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings on-site each week and provides transportation to additional 12-step and SMART Recovery meetings so clients can begin building a long-term recovery network.

Work, Education, and Life Skills Support

Vocational preparation is a core part of the program. Clients meet with staff to create resumes, identify prior work experience that can be transferred to new roles, and practice interviewing. Guest speakers visit the house to discuss training programs, certification options, and next steps for clients who want a new career path. Clients also attend life-skills and education groups that cover job readiness, time management, financial basics, and how to maintain work-life stability during early recovery. As clients progress through program levels, they are encouraged to pursue part-time employment.

Home-Like Residential Setting

The facility operates as a shared home with established routines that help clients adapt to life without substances. Clients prepare meals together, maintain living spaces, and use on-site laundry facilities. Many walk to nearby parks, grocery stores, and community amenities. Staff support remains available throughout the day to keep structure consistent.

Coordinated Services and Aftercare

Care coordination staff help clients manage health needs throughout their stay, including arranging medical, mental health, dental, occupational therapy, or physical therapy appointments and transportation. The program supports clients already receiving medications for addiction treatment (MAT) from outside prescribers. Discharge planning begins early and includes identifying stable housing options and establishing routines for ongoing recovery meetings. Overdose education and naloxone training are included to promote safety, and clients leave with an individualized plan that outlines next steps for maintaining progress.
