Gender-specific residential treatment
The center offers separate dedicated programming for men and women. Groups can include trauma treatment, anger management, emotional awareness, relapse prevention, and parenting support, all tailored to the specific needs of each gender. This structure may work well for clients who feel more comfortable sharing and doing the work of recovery in a same-sex environment. Care plans are also adapted to each clients’ unique needs.
Co-occurring mental health care
Substance use treatment is combined with treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders for clients who need it. A medical and psychological assessment given at the start of treatment helps care staff determine if co-occurring care may be appropriate, especially if a client has not been previously diagnosed. Proven therapeutic approaches involve cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed as needed to help ease cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
Life skills and job readiness
Preparing for life after formal treatment is a key focus of the program. Care staff guide clients through practical life skills training, educational support, and vocational training throughout residential and outpatient care. This can help clients return to work and family responsibilities with greater confidence.
Outpatient program and alumni network
After the residential phase, clients can step down to an outpatient program at the same location. Both in-person and virtual attendance options are offered for outpatient care. Once clients graduate, they become part of an alumni network that can provide ongoing peer support and a long-term recovery community.
