12-Step Integration and Structured Daily Therapies

Clients engage in a focused daily schedule centered around evidence-based therapies and 12-step integration through individual, group, and family counseling. Education sessions are offered to help clients understand substance use, and life skills workshops are provided to help individuals develop tools and coping strategies for long-term recovery. Along with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA), groups include anger management, relapse prevention, and trauma-informed counseling.

Psychological Evaluation and Dual-Diagnosis Care

The center specializes in short-term residential treatment for adults with both substance use and dual-diagnosis mental health disorders. Within 24 hours of admission, clients undergo a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to determine their specific mental health needs and create an adapted care plan. The program integrates clinical therapy with counseling and medication support when needed. While the center doesn’t prescribe medication onsite, it works with contracted providers to ensure clients maintain medication continuity.

Focused and Supportive Treatment Environment

Clients receive 24/7 care that supports both substance use treatment and day-to-day stability. The facility provides three nutritious meals a day, laundry services, and access to an outdoor garden walkway. Smoking is permitted in designated areas. These elements can help ease the stress of early recovery, especially for clients who have faced significant life disruptions or have been involved in the justice system.

Adapted Aftercare and Discharge Plans

The center offers discharge planning and aftercare support adapted to each client’s needs. These include relapse prevention planning, outcome follow-up, naloxone and overdose education, and connections with self-help groups. Recovery coaching and peer mentorship are also provided. These services are designed to help clients transition as smoothly as possible to the next steps in their recovery.
