Home-Like Setting with Private Rooms and Comfortable Amenities

The center offers a soothing, retreat-like setting for recovery, fully accessible by individuals with mobility limitations. Clients stay in private rooms with private bathrooms. Female clients also have the option of shared rooms. There is a flat-screen TV in every room, and clients can access their personal AppleTV and other streaming services. Meals include continental breakfast and lunch and dinner options that can be made to accommodate food restrictions. Clients are free to enjoy meals and snacks any time, day or night. The center’s relaxation-focused atmosphere ensures clients have a sense of privacy during their stay.

Individual and Social Recreational Activities

A number of fun and engaging activities are offered to give clients a chance to unwind and socialize. The on-site entertainment lounge features ping pong, foosball, a pool table, and a TV. A piano is onsite for those who wish to express their emotions with music. Clients also have access to a 24-hour fitness center to get exercise and relieve stress with gym equipment and a punching bag. Nature walks outside can provide both individual quiet time and a chance to connect with peers, and bonfires are held for group gatherings.

Trauma-Informed Care and 12-Step Integration

The center places a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, recognizing how these experiences can shape a person’s relationship with substance use. Treatment includes counseling from a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in trauma-informed care. Care is delivered with sensitivity to safety, empowerment, and emotional regulation. The center also integrates 12-Step principles through both in-house and external Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings. Clients receive up to 27 hours of group therapy every week, as well as one-on-one counseling sessions.

Dedicated Support for Veterans and First Responders

Targeted care is provided for veterans, active-duty military, and first responders, with services designed to address challenges including combat stress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Clients receive trauma-focused counseling and access to medication for co-occurring mental health conditions when needed. Staff are trained to work with military families. This specialized program helps clients rebuild trust and develop coping tools to reintegrate back into daily life.

Client Feedback

Clients often highlight the facility’s private accommodations, personalized education around relapse prevention, and the supportive, structured environment. Overall feedback emphasizes respect, safety, and strong staff-client rapport.
