Overview
Located just outside of Atlanta, the Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center provides integrated treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, with the most common substances treated including alcohol, opioids, heroin, benzodiazepines, amphetamines, hallucinogens, and prescription drugs. Treatment programs use a multidisciplinary “5 Lanes” approach that includes clinical, psychiatric, medical, spiritual, and vocational support. The facility offers private rooms, family therapy, and a Career Launch Program to help patients reintegrate into work or school. Treatment therapies include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), holistic therapies, and more. The Center is also LGBTQ+ inclusive, with virtual outpatient options and dietary accommodations.
