What to expect
Typical schedule
- Structured day-time routine: Days typically begin with morning vitals and breakfast at 7:00 a.m., followed by some free time, group meetings, lunch at 12:00 p.m., psychoeducational groups at 1:00 p.m., and skills groups at 2:15 p.m.
- Wind-down evening schedule: Clients eat dinner between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., followed by more group meetings, a recovery meeting around 7:30 p.m., and close out the day with down time before lights out at 10:30 p.m.
Developing your care plan
- Admissions assessments: The pre-admissions process includes screening and an insurance review, and clients meet with a counselor to discuss specific needs before creating a treatment plan.
- Client involvement: Treatment plans are individualized based on client needs, and each client has a say in how their program is shaped and in which services best fit their needs.
- Substantial treatment options: Care plans may include individual and/or group therapy, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, nature-informed therapy, and adventure recovery, all based on client needs.

- Counselors: Before beginning treatment, clients meet with a counselor to help develop their treatment plan.
- Psychiatric and medical staff: A psychiatrist and medical staff, including 24-hour nursing, are all available for client support.
Living experiences and amenities
- Comfortable gender-specific housing: Men and women live in separate homes, with access to a pool, tennis courts, walking trails, a music room, and spaces to relax, read, or spend time with peers during free time.
- Family involvement: The facility does not allow in-person visitation, but clients who want family involvement can access family therapy and a virtual Be a Loving Mirror (B.A.M.) program.
