Services for substance use and mental health care

Clients whose substance use disorder is connected to mental health conditions can receive support for both at once. The community-based facility combines addiction counseling with psychiatric services. At the start of treatment, staff evaluate each client to determine their specific needs, including whether MAT and mental health medications would be appropriate. Therapists, counselors, care coordinators, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and peer support specialists work together and regularly check in on clients to make sure their treatment plan fits and make adjustments as needed.

IOP for adults

The IOP is centered around helping clients develop practical recovery skills they can use to navigate day-to-day life. These skills include communication, stress management, anger management, coping strategies, and approaching relationships in a healthy way. The program also emphasizes helping clients find positive, substance-free activities to enjoy during their free time. Clients participate in both individual and group counseling and learn relapse-prevention skills.

Case management and community support

Case managers provide support for clients who need help finding or maintaining stable housing, returning to work after treatment, navigating family situations and social services, and finding community resources for long-term recovery. Transportation assistance is also offered. These practical supports are interwoven into behavioral health treatment. The staff includes housing and employment specialists who assist clients with these important matters.

Education and resources for mothers

Mothers who are pregnant or up to 6 months postpartum have access to education and help connecting to appropriate resources for healthy delivery and caring for their babies. Staff can also help mothers who feel unsafe in their relationships or life situations to find the help they need to achieve a positive solution. Assistance with nutrition, transportation to medical appointments, decreasing stress, and emotional support is provided. Pregnant clients can attend free classes and receive free baby items. Community baby showers may be held, and telehealth options for case management and prevention education are available.
