Residential Treatment for Men

The center provides both short and long-term residential care for men with 24-hour support. Treatment combines counseling, skills development, and peer support with evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention. Group and individual counseling sessions allow men to address the root causes of their substance use while building tools for long-term stability.

Practical Skills for Daily Life

Treatment plans include space for men to focus on the skills they need to succeed after leaving residential care. Clients work closely with primary counselors on areas such as stress management, anger control, and communication, depending on their goals. Workshops on relationship skills give men tools to navigate their environment once they return home. Case management helps with concrete needs, including connections to safe housing, legal advocacy, healthcare, and employment training as needed.

MAT and Integrated Care

The center offers access to FDA-approved medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, as well as medications for alcohol use disorder. Clients prescribed these medications elsewhere are also welcome, ensuring continuity of care. The program integrates services for co-occurring mental health needs. Clients can also receive primary care referrals to address their overall health.

Aftercare and Transitional Support

Discharge planning may include referrals to outpatient counseling or sober living homes, along with connections to community-based recovery meetings. Clients also receive overdose prevention education, including training in the use of naloxone. The center offers support in obtaining social services and CPS advocacy when required. This can help men transition more smoothly back into their communities with a stronger support system in place.

Accessibility Services

To provide accessibility, the program offers sign language services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as transportation assistance for those who may not have reliable options. This can help men who may otherwise be unable to access treatment ensure they can get the help they need.
