A recovery program specifically for young adults

Excelsior Integrated Care Center offers programs for young adults ages 18–24. It offers support for a broad range of challenges, including helping clients with substance use as well as support for those transitioning out of foster care, experiencing homelessness, or living with behavioral health conditions. Care focuses on personal growth and respect for others, and the program emphasizes independence and empowerment to help clients prepare for adulthood.

Built for recovery and practical life skills

This program focuses on building the skills clients need to succeed after treatment. It offers counseling as well as educational opportunities and GED preparation, social skills development, and recreational activities. Independent living skills are taught through modeling, and clients practice and demonstrate what they learn. The goal? Helping clients transition into employment, school, or independent living.

Transitional housing

The Bridge Program provides 90-day transitional housing for young adults who completed inpatient or residential treatment within the previous 30 days. This helps clients establish independence and stability after treatment rather than expecting them to immediately return to previous environments that may lack the support needed for recovery. Individualized support is provided with the goal of preventing homelessness for those leaving treatment.

Behavioral health, primary care, and recovery support, all in one place

Clients receive residential behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy, combined with primary care. Medication management is available when clinically indicated, and certified peer support is integrated into treatment. Care coordination helps clients navigate community resources as they prepare to transition to independent living.

A community-focused model that emphasizes long-term stability

This program places a strong emphasis on preparing young adults to live independently and contribute to their communities. Treatment extends beyond therapy to building lasting support systems to promote long-term success. The organization partners with state agencies and community organizations and focuses on empowering young adults to successfully integrate into their communities after treatment.
