Residential Care for Adult Men

The private, nonprofit residential treatment program is designed for men ages 18 and older. The CARF-accredited facility offers clinically managed high-intensity and low-intensity levels of care that emphasize stabilization after detox, recovery support, and structured daily routines. Residential intake is available 24/7.

12-Step Meetings, Evidence-Based Therapies, and MAT Support

Core services include individual and group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational approaches, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation. The program supports medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine and naltrexone for opioid use disorder. Clients already prescribed MAT can continue their medications. When detox is needed, the facility can connect clients to outside providers.

Whole-Person Health on Site

Care addresses substance use and co-occurring needs with on-site medical, mental health, and integrated primary care services. Screening and testing are available for HIV, hepatitis B and C, STIs, TB, COVID-19, and metabolic health. Nicotine cessation support and naloxone education are also provided.

Skills, Work, and Education Supports

Beyond therapy, the program focuses on practical life changes. Clients have access to GED preparation and educational assistance, basic computer instruction, job readiness coaching (including résumés, applications, interview skills), and money management. Case management helps with legal, medical, and community services as needed.

Community, Structure, and Sober Living

Daily life blends therapy with activities that build self-worth and routine. These include spirituality and wellness options, fitness gym time, and sports like basketball and softball. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings are held in-house. Clients can stay in private rooms when available, and balanced meals are provided. A Recovery House offers structured sober living with house meetings and relapse prevention groups.

Access and Practical Services

Transportation assistance is available. The facility allows visitors and mobile phone access, with smoking permitted in designated areas. Interpreting services include Spanish. County funding may be available. Specialized services are offered for clients involved with the justice system.
