Treatment Tailored To The Challenges of Teen and Young Adult Years

Designed for teens ages 13–17 and young adults ages 18–30, programs address the challenges of these stages of life. Clients participate in individual therapy, group therapy with peers their age, and family therapy to strengthen support at home. Small group sizes ensure each person is heard, while age-specific groups allow for discussions about school stress, social media, relationships, and career goals. This approach helps young people feel understood in a setting where peers are facing similar experiences.

Preparing for Life After Treatment Through Career and Academic Support

The program includes academic and vocational support so clients can keep up with school or move toward work goals while in care. Family participation helps align school and home support during treatment. Dedicated advisors work with clients on high school coursework, college planning, and career exploration so they can maintain momentum during treatment. Life skills workshops cover areas such as communication, organization, and job readiness, building practical confidence for life after treatment.

Blending Creative, Peer, and Clinical Support Pathways to Foster Recovery

Small groups ensure each person is heard, and peers engage in meaningful conversations with clinicians guiding the process. Therapies may include trauma-related counseling, mindfulness, art therapy, and music therapy, creating multiple pathways to recovery. The Richmond facility also offers opportunities for peer connection and activities such as yoga and games, supporting overall well-being alongside clinical care.

Flexible Programs Help Clients Fulfill Both Recovery and Responsibilities

Day Treatment (PHP) runs 5 days per week for about 4 weeks. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) meets after school or work, 4 days per week for about 12 weeks. Both levels provide individual, group, and family therapy, with scheduling designed to fit school and work commitments.
