A Healing Place for Women and Children

The center provides a safe recovery community where women and mothers can heal while living with their children. The two residential homes are designed to feel welcoming and family-oriented, creating a sense of normalcy for women rebuilding their lives. Mothers can attend counseling and skill-building sessions while their children receive care and supervision on-site. Shared meals, family-style living, and nurturing routines help both mothers and children feel secure.

Evidence-Based Therapy and 12-Step Facilitation

Substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions are treated together. Each woman receives an individualized treatment plan built on person-centered, trauma-informed care. Counseling combines evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-related counseling. Family therapy and 12-step meetings help strengthen communication and accountability at home. Pregnant and postpartum women receive specialized support, ensuring both mother and child receive the care they need.

Childcare and Parenting Support

A defining feature of the program is that children can remain with their mothers throughout treatment. Residential beds accommodate families, and childcare is provided while mothers participate in therapy or work programs. Early childhood staff guide children’s routines, offering play-based activities and developmental support in a safe environment. Parenting education sessions teach positive discipline, bonding, and stress management. Mothers working toward reunification receive case management and advocacy for family services.

Skill Trade Program

The center’s Skill Trade Program teaches basic home maintenance, simple plumbing, and repair skills that can translate into employment opportunities. Job-readiness workshops cover resume writing, interviewing, and connecting with local vocational resources. Independent Living sessions teach time management, budgeting, and household organization. These supports prepare women to transition successfully from treatment into stable housing or employment.

Aftercare and Case Management

Aftercare services include relapse prevention planning, referrals to peer recovery groups, and follow-up check-ins. Case management can assist with housing applications, educational enrollment, and access to health and social services as needed. Women can also receive support in connecting to local mentoring and family advocacy programs. Transportation assistance may be available to help women get to essential appointments.
