Faith-Based Residential Care

The center offers a structured, one-year residential program rooted in Christian faith. Each day includes chapel services, Bible study, and Celebrate Recovery 12-step support, blending spiritual guidance with counseling. The program emphasizes creating a disciplined but supportive environment where clients can step away from distractions, focus on their faith, and work toward lasting change. The program’s mission is not only sobriety but helping clients grow spiritually and personally.

A Structured Path to Recovery

The residential program is divided into four three-month phases, giving clients a clear roadmap through recovery. Each phase builds on the last, and participants earn certificates as they complete classes and milestones. This approach reinforces steady progress. By the end of the year, successful graduates are recognized for their achievements. For those who may not need a full year of care, outpatient and transitional housing options are available.

Therapy and Support Services

Clients participate in individual, group, and family counseling, with additional support for couples. Therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relapse prevention, motivational interviewing, anger management, and trauma-related counseling. Clients who are using medications for opioid or alcohol addiction prescribed elsewhere are accepted. Additional supports include treatment for gambling disorder, vocational counseling, and mental health services for co-occurring conditions such as trauma or chronic pain.

Building Life Skills and Community

Practical training includes resume writing, interview skills, and financial literacy, preparing residents for employment after graduation. Community service projects and peer mentorship encourage connection, while recreational activities provide healthy outlets. The program emphasizes creating a sense of belonging and brotherhood or sisterhood.

Aftercare and Long-Term Support

Alumni remain connected through the Life Challenge Alumni Association, which includes ongoing fellowship, service, and faith-based support. Aftercare planning includes continued counseling, recovery meetings, and peer mentoring to help prevent relapse. Ongoing opportunities for community involvement, including mentoring current clients and volunteering, allow alumni to give back while strengthening their own sobriety.
