A Christian Perspective on Change
This treatment program incorporates Christian principles into holistic and evidence-based practices to help men in various levels of addiction recovery services, including residential and outpatient care. The faith-based connections even extend to the program’s licensed and certified counselors, therapists, and life coaches.
Recreational Recovery in a Campus-Style Setting
The 16,000 square-foot facility houses up to 32 men and includes a gymnasium and outdoor space for recreational activities like basketball, volleyball, yoga, softball, cornhole, and horseshoes. The environment promotes physical health, routine, and camaraderie—key elements that help clients stay engaged in recovery and begin forming healthier lifestyles.
Life Skills, Peer Support, and Practical Tools
Beyond clinical therapy, the program emphasizes life preparation. Clients participate in peer-led groups, mentoring, and classes on financial literacy, employment readiness, GED preparation, and social development. These offerings are central to equipping men with the tools they need to reintegrate into their communities, find stable housing, secure employment, and rebuild relationships.
Designed for Men with Complex Needs
Kentucky Christian Recovery welcomes adult and senior men, including those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders or trauma histories. With suicide prevention services, case management, and assistance connecting to social services, the facility provides a safety net for men who may have few other supports in place.
What Clients Are Saying
Many reviewers credit Kentucky Christian Recovery with providing a faith-based environment that fosters deep personal and spiritual transformation.
