Women-Only Residential Care With Withdrawal Support

The center provides residential substance use treatment for women ages 18 and older. The program combines 24/7 residential care with clinically managed withdrawal management, including assessments, symptom monitoring, medication management, and coping support. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are available along with medications for alcohol use disorder and mental health conditions.

Keeping Mothers and Children Together

A central feature of this program is its focus on women and families. Mothers can bring children up to age 11 to live with them during treatment. Childcare is provided on-site while mothers attend groups and counseling, and staff help arrange school enrollment for school-aged children. Children ages 5–11 receive weekly individual counseling, and families can stay together in specially furnished suites designed for mothers and their children.

Daily Groups and Community Living

Clients live in a community setting with about 40 hours per week of core and life skills group programming. Group topics include mindful cognitive behavioral therapy, Living in Balance, Seeking Safety, women’s health, parenting, exercise, change planning, nutrition, and spirituality. Each client is assigned an individual counselor who helps identify challenges, personal strengths, and support systems, and works with them to shape a recovery plan. Shared meals, daily chores, and recreational activities help clients connect and build a peer support network.

Trauma-Responsive and Health-Focused Services

The program offers services for women who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, or intimate partner violence. Treatment approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, 12-step meetings, and trauma-related counseling. Integrated primary care helps clients get their physical needs met, contributing to a holistic recovery.

Aftercare and Referrals

From the start of treatment, staff and clients work together on transition planning. Case management, recovery coaching, and mentoring help clients plan for housing, employment, community support, and ongoing care. Referrals may include social services, job programs, housing offices, veterans services, and local mutual-help meetings, depending on client needs. Aftercare and outcome follow-up, naloxone and overdose education, and transportation assistance are designed to help women leave with concrete next steps to thrive long-term.
