Designed for men of all ages, the program combines clinical treatment with spiritual care and lived-experience mentorship, creating an environment that feels structured, restorative, and purpose-driven.

From Stabilization to Career Readiness

Crown’s “Crisis to Career™” model offers a clearly defined, four-phase path. Clients begin with medical detox and residential care, then transition through outpatient services and job-readiness programming. The final stage includes vocational training and internships, many delivered through ARC’s educational partner, The Millard College. This approach helps bridge the gap between treatment and long-term employment, offering pathways in trades like culinary arts, welding, and automotive work.

Faith-Based and Peer-Led Recovery

Althaire Hall’s programming is grounded in both clinical practice and spiritual values. Clients participate in trauma-informed therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation, alongside chaplaincy services and Celebrate Recovery meetings. A unique 72-hour buddy system pairs new clients with a peer mentor, providing built-in support from day one.

Wellness and Community Through Recreation

The facility emphasizes physical activity and peer connection as key parts of healing. Clients engage in daily recreational programming, including fitness training, indoor and outdoor sports, and spiritual gatherings. These activities not only support mental and physical health but also foster camaraderie and emotional resilience during treatment.

Integrated Care for Complex Needs

In addition to substance use treatment, Crown provides services for co-occurring mental health conditions and offers medications for addiction treatment (MAT). The facility also delivers care for medical needs like HIV and Hepatitis C, ensuring a comprehensive approach that addresses multiple aspects of health. Transitional support includes relapse prevention, peer recovery coaching, and housing assistance to help maintain recovery after discharge.
