A Campus Setting with Purpose

Housed on the former campus of Saint Catharine College in rural Kentucky, addiction treatment at Crown’s Dominic Hall offers a walkable, college-style environment tailored to adult men. Shared housing, chore schedules, and group-based routines foster accountability and structure, while former classrooms and campus facilities have been converted into treatment and training spaces. This rural, multi-facility setting helps clients build daily rhythms and engage in community during their recovery journey.

From Detox to Employment: The Crisis to Career™ Model

Crown Recovery ARC’s four-phase “Crisis to Career™” model, which moves clients through medical stabilization, therapy, life skills, and vocational training. Each phase builds toward long-term recovery and economic stability, with clients gradually progressing from residential care to internships and job placement support. The model ties treatment directly to real-world goals like employment and independence.

A Program Grounded in Faith and Peer Community

Designed for adult men, particularly those from rural communities, the program combines evidence-based care with Christian principles and peer-led support. Clients engage in 12-step meetings, faith-centered programming, and structured group routines. New arrivals are paired with a 72-hour buddy to help ease the transition into treatment, and many staff have lived experience with recovery. This peer-based approach fosters trust, accountability, and mutual support throughout the program.

Clinical Services and Wraparound Support

Services include medical detox, short- and long-term residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient programming. Therapies offered range from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused counseling to motivational interviewing and 12-step facilitation. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are available for alcohol and opioid use disorders. Additional supports include housing assistance, family counseling, case management, and peer mentoring. Transportation services help ensure that clients can access and remain engaged in care.

Vocational Training Through Millard College

Clients in later treatment phases can access vocational training and paid internships through The Millard College, located onsite. Training tracks include peer support, culinary arts, welding, and other skill-based fields. This practical support helps men reenter the workforce with confidence and clear direction, reinforcing recovery through economic stability.
