Nature-Based, Men-Only Setting

Stone Lodge provides a quiet, rural environment designed for men. Located near Yatesville Lake and built from large stone blocks, the facility offers shared housing, outdoor green space, walking areas, and a sand volleyball court. This setting supports a predictable daily routine and opportunities to spend time outdoors, which can be grounding during early recovery.

Faith-Informed and Holistic Care

The program incorporates counseling, medical stabilization, and integrated mental health services with 12-step support, and spiritual care options. Men can attend meetings like Celebrate Recovery or Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and participate in trauma-related counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other evidence-supported approaches.

Vocational Training and Workforce Preparation

A defining feature of Stone Lodge is ARC’s Crisis to Career model, which connects treatment with practical skill building. Men can access structured vocational tracks which provide hands-on experience, help rebuild confidence, and offer a clear pathway to employment after treatment — an important support for individuals who may be rebuilding financial stability or reentering the workforce.

Support for Real-Life Barriers

Many men in rural areas face challenges related to transportation, employment, or unstable living situations. Stone Lodge offers transportation assistance, case management, help accessing social services, and vocational or educational support. These services can reduce barriers that make it difficult to engage in treatment or sustain progress after discharge. The program also offers aftercare planning, recovery coaching, and connection to peer support.

Integrated Mental Health and Wellness Activities

The center provides assessment and treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions, medication management, and health education. Wellness activities such as nature walks, hiking, and group exercise are part of the weekly rhythm and support stress reduction and physical health. This combination helps men build healthy routines they can continue using outside of treatment.

Community and Peer Connection

Stone Lodge emphasizes peer support, including group counseling, mentoring, and sober community living. For men who may feel isolated or disconnected from social support, these relationships can offer accountability and encouragement. The community-oriented structure, along with spiritual and vocational pathways, creates an environment where men can rediscover purpose and prepare for long-term recovery.
