Residential Care for Mothers and Infants

The center offers residential treatment specifically for pregnant and postpartum women who need a stable environment during recovery, allowing mothers to stay through pregnancy and for up to three months after delivery, with infants living onsite. This removes common barriers like finding childcare or being separated from a newborn while seeking treatment. The home-like setting offers women consistent routines and direct access to medical resources. By keeping mother and baby together, the program supports early bonding during a time that can be both fragile and transformative.

Medical Stabilization and Neonatal Support

Clients entering the program receive supervised medical stabilization and ongoing care directed by addiction specialists. Treatment may include medications for addiction treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate, as well as medical monitoring that supports women during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Neonatal care education is provided to teach newborn care skills. Mothers practice feeding, soothing techniques, and infant safety, creating continuity between recovery goals and early parenting responsibilities. Medical services are delivered steps away from the hospital campus, increasing access to necessary care.

Counseling, Mental Health Services, and Spiritual Care Options

The center offers multiple forms of therapy, including individual sessions, weekly recovery groups, trauma-related counseling, and integrated mental health services for co-occurring needs. Educational lectures and wellness activities give clients consistent opportunities to develop new coping tools for both recovery and parenthood. Spiritual care is available through optional chaplain services and 12-step meeting access.

Case Management and Practical Assistance

State-certified case managers meet with each client to identify and plan for social and practical needs for life after discharge. This may include assistance with applying for housing programs, navigating child welfare requirements, reconnecting with family supports, and outlining vocational or educational goals. Transportation assistance helps clients keep appointments and maintain consistency in care. Clients can also access employment counseling and vocational training opportunities. These supports are designed to reduce the pressures that often interrupt treatment — like unstable housing, lack of income, or limited access to community services.
