A Supportive Environment for Men
The house provides a structured sober living setting for men in early recovery, offering both comfort and peer accountability. Men share the responsibilities around the house, helping both to keep a structured routine and build deeper bonds with one another. Fully furnished rooms, shared living spaces, and amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a common room with a fireplace, and a game room give residents peace and stability as they transition from treatment to independent living.
Recovery Through Peer Connections and Sponsorship
The program emphasizes personal responsibility and community. Residents participate in regular house meetings and leadership opportunities designed to build life skills. Peer accountability, supported by experienced house managers, helps create a therapeutic community where residents can grow together. Men are sponsored by another program member and receive recovery coaching. Family and friends are able to visit after work hours.
Access to Outpatient Care and Community Resources
Men have easy access to outpatient treatment through the center’s partner, Next Level Recovery. Services include crisis intervention, counseling, and family support. The home also connects residents to local resources such as Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness (USARA), the Department of Workforce Services, and community-based 12-Step meetings. These connections help residents strengthen recovery networks, secure employment, and access additional services as needed.
Employment Assistance and Case Management
Employment and education are encouraged from the beginning. Many residents find jobs through community partnerships or referrals, helping them to build financial independence alongside recovery. Vocational training, case management, and ongoing support help give individuals the tools that make long-term recovery sustainable.
Opportunities for Healthy Living
The home’s location gives residents access to gyms, hiking trails, ski slopes, fishing, swimming, and other outdoor activities. These recreational outlets provide healthy alternatives for stress relief and further opportunities for group connection. On-site, house meetings and peer activities foster a sense of belonging that counteracts the isolation common in early recovery.
