Trauma Expertise With Advanced Clinical Care
Maple Mountain Recovery offers specialized treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and dual diagnoses. Clients receive intensive therapeutic support, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, neurofeedback, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). The facility also provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for appropriate cases. Each client receives up to three individual therapy sessions per week, tailored to their needs.
Full Continuum of Services on a Mountain Campus
Located in the foothills of Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, the facility delivers detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy on a single campus. This allows clients to move between levels of care without disruption, supporting stability and long-term engagement in treatment. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) and psychiatric support are available, alongside health monitoring and integrated primary care.
Luxury Amenities in a Home-Like Setting
The residential environment is intentionally designed to feel like a welcoming home rather than a clinic. Clients have access to private or shared rooms, some with private bathrooms, as well as a fitness center, sauna, biosound lounge, outdoor meditation spaces, and gardens. Meals are prepared by in-house chefs with accommodations for vegan and gluten-free diets. A therapy dog and dedicated hospitality staff further support a sense of comfort and emotional safety.
Whole-Person Healing Through Functional and Holistic Therapies
Maple Mountain incorporates functional medicine to address physical contributors to mental health, like inflammation and gut health, through lab testing and dietary planning. Holistic therapies like yoga, sound baths, art and music therapy, and equine therapy are part of the weekly schedule. These offerings help clients reconnect with their bodies, manage stress, and develop new emotional regulation tools.
Inclusive and Culturally Competent Approach
The program affirms LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse clients, with explicit inclusion policies and trauma-informed care standards. Family involvement is supported through therapy and structured educational sessions. Airport transportation and transition planning, including discharge coordination, relapse prevention, and alumni support, help reduce logistical and emotional barriers to recovery.
What Clients Say
Patient feedback consistently praises the staff’s compassion and the depth of trauma-focused care. Many describe the facility as safe, beautiful, and life-changing. Clients have noted the formation of deep peer connections, and highlight the facility’s balance of structure and personal warmth. Some reviews also raised concerns about communication consistency and admissions transparency.
