Integrated Academic Program
The center offers an accredited academic program alongside residential treatment, allowing teens to stay on track with their education while receiving care. The curriculum is tailored to each student’s grade level and academic needs, with licensed teachers providing instruction in core subjects. Small class sizes and structured classroom settings support individualized learning. This model helps prevent setbacks in school. Educational progress is closely coordinated with therapy as part of the broader recovery process.
Focused Substance Use Care
The intensive residential substance use treatment program includes adapted plans for each teen, developed after a thorough intake evaluation. Young people participate in individual therapy three times weekly, including sessions with an addictions counselor, as well as daily group therapy covering relapse prevention, trauma processing, and anger management. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) are available when appropriate under psychiatrist and nursing supervision. Family involvement is emphasized through weekly family therapy sessions.
Behavioral and Mental Health Treatment
The center provides treatment for adolescents with a range of mental health and behavioral issues, including gambling addiction. Treatment begins with a comprehensive psychiatric and psychological evaluation to tailor care to each student’s needs. Evidence-based therapies are delivered through individual, group, and family sessions. Clients benefit from medication management, and activities that support skill-building, self-awareness, and coping strategies.
Therapeutic Mountain Setting
Care takes place in a structured environment designed to promote a daily routine. The residential campus provides gender and age-specific accommodations, and outdoor features include basketball courts, a fire pit, and a community garden. A fitness center and yoga sessions promote physical wellness as part of holistic care. Therapeutic outings extend learning and recovery beyond the classroom, helping students develop confidence and social skills in real-world settings.
Client Reviews
Feedback on Youth Care is polarized. Many families commend the facility for helping their children make significant progress when other programs failed, particularly in cases involving complex mental health and substance use issues.
