Who is this facility a good fit for?

  • Best fit if: Adults who need a structured, 24/7 supervised treatment setting; have substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions; want integrated psychiatric care with MAT when appropriate; prefer a behavioral health system with multiple levels of care for continued treatment.
  • Not a fit if: Adults who want a luxury or resort-style treatment experience; need a flexible or self-directed daily schedule; expect unrestricted access to personal electronic devices during residential care; want open or anytime family visitation.

What to expect

Developing your care plan

  • Admission and clinical review: Prior to admission, clients undergo an initial screening online or by phone. A clinical review is conducted to help determine placement, the recommended level of care, and availability for admission.
  • Personalized treatment planning: Care plans are developed during the first few days after admission with clients actively participating in the process. Standard program goals and personalized goals are taken into account. Treatment is highly individualized.

Who you will meet with

  • Therapy and psychiatric care: A behavioral therapist and psychiatrist provide therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and continued support throughout treatment.
  • Medical and clinical support: Nursing and clinical staff monitor client health, coordinate care, and provide 24/7 support during withdrawal management.

Typical schedule

  • Residential treatment: Residential care has a highly structured daily schedule with about 10 hours of programming each day. This can include group therapy, individual therapy, psychiatric appointments, leisure, and recreational activities. Clients are expected to participate in all scheduled therapy. Limited personal downtime is also built into the schedule.
  • PHP and IOP schedules: Clients in PHP can expect to be in programming about six hours per day five days a week, while IOP typically goes about three hours per day for three to five days per week.
  • Family involvement: Loved ones can support clients through planned and scheduled visitation. Family counseling is also available as a part of treatment services.

Living experiences and amenities

  • Living on campus: A typical stay on-site in the residential program lasts about 4–10 weeks depending on the client's needs.
  • Electronics and recreational amenities: Access to personal electronic devices is only available during scheduled periods. Clients can use a computer lab during designated times and gym access is available during scheduled recreational periods.

Aftercare

  • Continued treatment: Clients can transition to lower levels of care within the same organization, including PHP, IOP, and standard outpatient treatment. They also have access to formal discharge planning, continuing care, and follow-up support to help them prepare for a more independent life.
  • Recovery support: Recovery support may include naloxone education, overdose prevention, self-help groups, and help connecting with community and social services.
