Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment

The program addresses substance use and mental health needs in one coordinated plan. Evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-specific counseling, and twelve-step facilitation are combined with education and process groups. The average residential stay is about 55 days, with length tailored to individual goals.

Trauma-Informed, Women-Only Approach

With more than 60 years of experience, Meta House focuses on trauma-informed care in a women-only environment. Therapies like Seeking Safety and A Woman’s Way Through the 12 Steps give women tools to process experiences in supportive, gender-specific groups. This approach fosters safety and recovery for those who have experienced trauma.

Meta House prepares women for long-term stability through recovery management, case management, vocational training support, and housing assistance. Peer mentoring, self-help groups, and transportation services strengthen community connections.
