Located in the scenic hills of Marion County, Phoenix House Florida Residential Center offers residential treatment for adults in a restorative, nature-rich environment. The program combines structure and compassion to address substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, allowing clients to step away from daily stress and focus fully on recovery.

Evidence-Based Treatment

Treatment incorporates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention, along with medications for addiction treatment (MAT) for alcohol and opioid use disorders. Nursing and psychiatric care are integrated throughout treatment to support physical and emotional stability.

Separate Programs for Men and Women

Gender-specific programs are designed to create safety and trust. The Murray Center for Women provides a trauma-informed environment focused on empowerment and self-awareness, while the men’s program offers a structured setting for developing personal accountability and recovery skills. Both include withdrawal management, family engagement, and discharge planning tailored to individual needs.

Real-Life Recovery Support

Beyond therapy, the center prepares clients for lasting recovery with life-skills workshops, educational and vocational support, and family reintegration assistance. The 26-acre campus encourages healthy routines and sober recreation through amenities like a pool, full gym, tennis and volleyball courts, art and music spaces, and equine therapy. Case management, transportation support, and alumni programming help clients build stability and community as they transition from treatment to daily life.
