Three Focused Residential Paths
DISC Village offers three residential programs designed around different lived realities: Sisters in Sobriety for adult women, Mothers in Sobriety for pregnant and postpartum women who can live alongside their infants, and Natural Bridge Recovery Center’s Making the Connection for adult men. Each program provides a structured, 24-hour environment for clients who benefit from stepping away from day-to-day triggers while focusing on recovery in a substance-free setting.
Evidence-Based Care With a Holistic Lens
Across all three programs, treatment centers on evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, paired with individual and group counseling. Counseling follows a harm reduction and strengths-based perspective, helping clients set individualized goals while building practical coping skills. When appropriate, clients can access medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including options used for opioid and alcohol use disorders, supported through affiliated or contracted prescribers.
Specialized Support for Women and Mothers
Sisters in Sobriety is built for women who may want a women-only space to focus on recovery, including those navigating trauma or co-occurring mental health needs. Mothers in Sobriety adds a distinct layer of support for pregnant and postpartum women by emphasizing mother–child bonding and responsible parenting skills as part of treatment. For clients working to stabilize both recovery and family life, this structure can reduce barriers to staying engaged in care during a critical window.
Life Skills, Stability, and Transition Planning
Residential treatment extends beyond therapy sessions. Case management uses a wraparound approach to help clients identify strengths and needs, connect with social services, and plan next steps. Education and vocational support can help clients work toward new opportunities, while recovery supports such as self-help groups, mentoring and peer support, and relapse prevention planning reinforce day-to-day stability.
Practical Access and Aftercare
DISC Village emphasizes continuity as clients prepare to leave residential care. Transportation assistance may be available, and discharge planning focuses on linking clients to ongoing support. The organization offers a sliding fee scale based on household income. Aftercare services, overdose education with naloxone, and outcome follow-up help clients stay connected as they transition back into the community, supporting stability beyond the residential setting.
