Outpatient Support Away from Distractions
- Outpatient programming takes places adjacent to, but in a separate building from inpatient treatment programs.
- Clients at River Oaks Outpatient Treatment are required to abstain from all substances while going through recovery programming.
Outpatient Programming Based on Recovery Needs
- PHP treatment resembles inpatient programming, with clients attending structured treatment for 20-30+ hours each week and having access to valuable therapy, including behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and peer support. PHP does not include overnight treatment.
- For clients in the next step of their recovery, River Oaks Outpatient Treatment offers 3-hour blocks of IOP treatment sessions for 3-5 days per week.
- IOP programming is available during the day, evening, or weekends, and includes support for co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Virtual IOP may be available for some Floridians.
Access to Range of Therapy Options
- 12-Step facilitation available, allowing clients to continue attending meetings (AA, NA) long after leaving inpatient and outpatient treatment.
- Psychotherapy, in one-on-one and group settings, is led by trained professionals to help clients address and treat dysfunctional emotional reactions, thoughts, and behaviors.
- Motivational interviewing (MI) helps clients resolve ambivalent feelings about recovery.
