Medical Detox and Residential Care
The center provides medically monitored detoxification and residential treatment for adults with substance use disorders. Detox protocols include medications for addiction treatment (MAT) to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Nursing is available 24/7 during detox, with daily check-ins by a nurse practitioner to track comfort and safety. Residential care typically follows for 28 days, giving clients time to stabilize, participate in therapy, and plan next steps.
Individual Attention and Low Client-to-Staff Ratio
The facility is intentionally small, allowing close attention to each person’s needs. Case managers meet with clients daily during detox and at least twice weekly in residential care to coordinate family calls, workplace communication, FMLA paperwork, and aftercare planning. Clients also have daily one-on-one therapy with a licensed clinician and weekly follow-ups with a psychiatric nurse practitioner. This helps address medical, mental health, and practical needs.
Evidence-Based and Holistic Therapies
Daily programming blends evidence-based care with expressive and wellness options. Core approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, substance use counseling, and 12-step work. Groups also cover psychoeducation and nutrition. Holistic therapies including recreation, art, music, and dance, offer additional pathways for self-expression and stress regulation. Life-skills training targets anger management, communication, problem-solving, relationship skills, and symptom management. Telehealth therapy is available during outpatient programs, supporting continuity if a client needs remote sessions.
Comfortable Setting and Amenities
The campus is bright, clean, and surrounded by trees for added privacy. Inpatient clients stay in private or shared rooms and receive healthy meals. Communal spaces include a dining area, lounge, and outdoor picnic tables. The facility permits smoking and vaping in designated areas. Language access includes sign-language services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Programming serves young adults and adults of all genders.
Aftercare Planning
Before discharge, staff coordinate individualized aftercare with relapse-prevention strategies, peer support groups, continued individual counseling, and educational resources. Outcome follow-ups after discharge are offered to support accountability. Case managers help align next steps such as outpatient care so clients leave with scheduled appointments and a practical plan.
