These can include physical stabilization, craving management, daily routine development, and preparing for life after rehabilitation. Mental health needs are addressed with addiction treatment.

• Medical and clinical providers: Clients participating in treatment have access to medical and psychiatric providers, therapists, and substance use counselors during detox and residential care. This support may include withdrawal management, medication support, mental health care, individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention.
