Harmony House in New Bedford offers a structured, home-like setting designed to help men and individuals identifying as male stabilize and strengthen their recovery after detox or other treatment. Situated in an urban neighborhood with access to community resources, the facility fosters accountability and mutual support among residents as they rebuild their lives.

Integrated Therapeutic Care

The program combines evidence-based counseling approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention, with trauma-informed and peer-supported recovery. Group and individual sessions provide emotional grounding while teaching practical strategies to manage triggers and sustain progress.

Building Skills for Independence

Residents develop life and job readiness skills that support long-term stability beyond treatment. Vocational services, daily living routines, and goal-setting workshops help participants gain confidence, prepare for employment, and strengthen self-sufficiency, key steps toward lasting recovery and reintegration into the community.
