Residential and Outpatient Programming with a Clear Path Forward
The facility offers multiple levels of care, including SAPTA-certified residential treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient services. Residential clients engage in up to 25 hours of weekly programming, which includes evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and the Matrix Model. Each client begins treatment with a brief communication blackout period to help them acclimate to the highly structured setting and focus fully on recovery. Licensed professionals provide around-the-clock support within a consistent, community-oriented environment.
Integrated Job Support and Transitional Housing
The facility stands out for its combination of clinical treatment and real-world support services. Clients work one-on-one with case managers to access vocational training, employment preparation, and help obtaining personal identification and other documents. Transitional housing options give clients the chance to gradually step down into more independent living while still benefiting from structure, peer support, and recovery-focused programming. These offerings are designed to ease the transition out of formal treatment and support financial and social stability.
Programs for Underserved and Justice-Involved Adults
The facility focuses on serving adults who often face barriers to traditional care, including justice-involved individuals and people returning from incarceration. Freedom Behavioral Health partners with the 8th District Judicial Court and the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) to provide treatment as part of reentry and diversion programs. Additional support is available for veterans, older adults, and people living with HIV. Services are offered in English and Spanish to support access for more clients.
Safe Environment and Community-Focused Care
Located on a quiet street near central Las Vegas, the center is designed to be secure, structured, and community-oriented. Security protocols help ensure safety for residents, while shared responsibilities such as meals, chores, and peer activities reinforce a recovery-focused routine. The program emphasizes early aftercare planning, strong community ties, and continued peer engagement, empowering clients to rebuild their lives with greater confidence and lasting support.
Client Reviews
Feedback on Freedom House Sober Living is deeply mixed, reflecting a broad range of experiences. Some clients describe the program as life-changing, noting compassionate peer support, spiritual encouragement, and the role of structure in long-term recovery.
