Oldest Nonprofit Clinic in Las Vegas

Founded in 1971, Bridge Counseling Associates is the oldest nonprofit behavioral health clinic in Southern Nevada. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), it combines a mission of compassion and hope with evidence-based care, helping people build effective lives through counseling, psychiatric support, and recovery-focused programs.

Outpatient Care With 24/7 Crisis Response

Bridge offers outpatient and intensive outpatient programming (IOP) tailored for individuals and families. Crisis services are available day and night, including weekends and holidays, with walk-in, onsite, and mobile response options. Each person begins with a comprehensive assessment to guide treatment goals.

Specialized Care for Co-Occurring Needs

The clinic treats substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders, with focused programs for trauma, PTSD, gambling addiction, anger, and suicidality. Services include individual, group, and family therapy, along with prevention groups and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Psychiatric and nurse practitioner services are available for medication management. While medications for addiction treatment are not provided onsite, the clinic supports individuals already receiving them elsewhere.

Community Support and Access

Bridge serves children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Programs include family therapy, parenting groups, and priority access for pregnant women. The clinic partners with courts, schools, physicians, and community agencies to provide court-ordered treatment, DUI programs, and coordination with probation services. Additional supports include housing resources, peer mentoring, psychosocial rehabilitation, illness management, and telehealth. Language access covers Spanish, sign language for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and other languages, making care available to a wider community. Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas.
