Online DWI Services Statewide

The center offers North Carolina drivers, and out-of-state drivers charged in North Carolina, comprehensive, court and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)-approved DWI services entirely online. From mandatory DWI assessments to required education or treatment programs, the center guides clients through every step needed to regain driving privileges. Scheduling is flexible, with weekday, evening, and Saturday options, allowing clients to meet legal requirements without missing work or other responsibilities.

Flexible Education and Treatment Programs

The facility provides Alcohol Drug Education Traffic School (ADETS) classes for first-time offenders who meet specific criteria, as well as short-term (20–39 hours) and long-term (40+ hours) DWI programs. Classes are offered in both English and Spanish, fully accessible online, and designed to fit varied schedules. This accessibility ensures that busy professionals, students, or those living outside major cities can complete their requirements without unnecessary travel.

Intensive Outpatient Care for Substance Use

In addition to DWI services, Absolute Advocacy offers an online intensive outpatient program (IOP) for clients with a substance-related diagnosis. The program uses evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention. Clients with co-occurring mental health needs also receive focused support. Individual and group counseling sessions, substance use education, and family involvement options provide a holistic framework for recovery.

Serving a Broad Range of Clients

Programs are available for adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors, with adapted tracks for veterans, active duty military, criminal justice-involved clients, and individuals with HIV/AIDS. The facility works with clients who use medications for addiction treatment (MAT) prescribed elsewhere, and offers services in Spanish to improve accessibility.

A Supportive, Nonjudgmental Approach

Counselors approach each case with empathy, recognizing the stress, stigma, and uncertainty clients may feel. Rather than focusing on punishment, the team works to guide individuals through legal and treatment requirements with clarity. Clients can expect open communication and a safe, confidential space to participate in services. This supportive environment, paired with flexible virtual access, helps clients engage fully in the process and make meaningful progress toward reinstating their license and improving overall well-being.
