Healing, Natural Setting with Comfortable Amenities

Located in Palm Beach County close to Lake Okeechobee, the center is surrounded by a lush natural environment. Clients can enjoy hiking along trails and walking paths, or just relax on the large front porch. Weekend outings are offered for clients to get some recreational group time. Amenities include rooms with memory foam beds, smart TVs, and a gaming system. An in-house chef prepares meals that can be adapted to individual dietary requirements.

Help with Family Leave Paperwork

For clients who need assistance with getting time off from work in order to dedicate themselves fully to recovery, care staff can help with Family Medical and Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork. By going through this process, clients can receive up to 12 weeks off without needing to let their employer know they are receiving treatment. This way, clients can keep their reasons private while benefiting from the time they need to heal.

12-Step and SMART Recovery Paths

The center offers both traditional 12-step programs and SMART Recovery. SMART (Self-Management and Recovery Training) emphasizes personal empowerment through evidence-based tools like cognitive behavioral techniques and goal setting. Both pathways include group meetings and peer support. Clients can choose the approach that aligns best with their beliefs, allowing them to engage meaningfully in their recovery, whether through spiritual reflection or practical, self-directed strategies.

Creative Therapies and Family Support

Art and music therapy are offered as complementary additions to evidence-based care. By participating in these creative outlets, clients can channel their emotions into something tangible. Seeing or hearing one’s own creative work can provide insight into the inner self that may otherwise be difficult to understand and verbalize. Family therapy is also offered to help rebuild relationships and educate loved ones on how to best offer support and maintain a productive healing environment at home.

What Patients Say

Patients consistently highlight the empathy of the staff and the sense of peer support they find in the community. While a few mention frustrations around insurance or discharge processes, the overwhelmingly positive feedback centers on feeling truly cared for. Many say the experience made a difference in their recovery.
