Trauma-focused therapies and support

Trauma-informed care is an integral part of the program, with every staff member undergoing training that promotes physical and psychological safety. Care may include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, motivational interviewing, Living in Balance, the Matrix Model, and the S.E.L.F. framework (S.E.L.F. stands for safety, emotions, loss, and future). Group discussions may also address topics such as emotional regulation, grief, stress management, decision making, and self-esteem.

Military and first responder support

Active-duty military members, veterans, and first responders can participate in the facility's dedicated Uniformed Personnel Program and Patriot Support Program. The program is designed around experiences unique to military and public safety professionals. Care may include help with combat stress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), in addition to substance use and other service-related behavioral health concerns in a peer environment.

Continuing care and recovery support

Clients can continue treatment through PHP, IOP, and personalized aftercare planning after inpatient care. On-site Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and SMART Recovery meetings are available to provide community recovery support during treatment. Prior to discharge, staff work with clients to provide outpatient services and additional community resources to support continued recovery after they return home.

Integrated stabilization and treatment

The program is designed for clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Care combines medically supervised withdrawal management, psychiatric support, therapy, and MAT. Treatment focuses on helping clients stabilize safely before transitioning them to the next level of care, and discharge planning begins early during the inpatient stay.
