Luxurious Accommodations and Fun-Filled Amenities

Clients stay in private rooms featuring queen-sized beds, private bathrooms, and personal TVs. After detox, cell phones and laptops can be used in the evenings to connect with loved ones and maintain personal responsibilities. A wide range of resort-style amenities is available for clients to enjoy. These include a pool, volleyball and basketball courts, and a 15,000-square-foot gym and recreation center. These features combine to help clients feel at ease and promote daily routines that support wellness.

Free Evening Recreation Time

After 4:30 every evening, clients are free to choose from a wide range of recreational options. These include small and large group activities such as boxing with professional coaches, talent shows, art activities, karaoke, trivia nights, board game tournaments, sports, movies, and escape rooms. Once clients ascend through care levels, they can participate in off-campus activities such as beach trips and bowling. If quiet time is preferred, clients can choose to relax in their rooms or enjoy the pool and other amenities.

Full Continuum of Care in One Place

The center offers a full continuum of care in one location. Whether entering treatment through medically supervised detox or stepping down into residential, day/night treatment, or intensive outpatient programs with housing, clients remain in a familiar setting with consistent care staff. This stability can ease the stress of transition between care levels and reduce disruption, helping clients stay more relaxed as they focus on their recovery.

Aftercare Planning and Life Skills Support

Detailed case management and structured relapse prevention are arranged by care staff for each client based on their individual needs. Aftercare plans can include coordination for intensive outpatient programs, help with legal matters, and resources for reintegration into daily life. Life skills education is a crucial part of care plans, covering areas including budgeting, time management, and communication skills. This comprehensive preparation helps clients leave treatment with confidence.

What Patients Are Saying

Reviews from former clients consistently praise the warmth and professionalism of staff. Many describe their experience at WhiteSands as life-changing, citing the combination of clinical care, supportive community, and meaningful aftercare. Some reviews mention facility maintenance issues (such as A/C outages or broken gym equipment) and occasional communication lapses, but the majority of feedback reflects deep gratitude and lasting positive change.
