Wayside House offers a safe and supportive environment designed exclusively for women recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Located in Delray Beach, the campus features serene gardens, outdoor lounges, and gathering areas that encourage calm reflection and connection. The women-only setting provides a sense of safety and shared understanding, helping clients focus fully on healing and self-discovery.

Holistic and Trauma-Informed Treatment

Treatment integrates evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention with holistic approaches like yoga, art, horticulture, and equine therapy. Programs follow a 12-step framework and emphasize trauma-informed care, addressing the emotional and physical dimensions of recovery. This whole-person model helps clients rebuild confidence, resilience, and trust in themselves and others.

Flexible Programs for Every Stage of Recovery

Wayside House provides multiple levels of care tailored to each woman’s needs. The 90-day residential program offers structure and therapeutic depth, while the partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) provide flexible daytime and evening options. Outpatient counseling extends support for those transitioning back to daily life, allowing clients to sustain recovery while balancing work, family, or education.

Building Real-World Skills and Lasting Support

Beyond treatment, programs focus on life skills that promote lasting independence. The Posner Career Center supports clients in job readiness, resume writing, and computer literacy. Parenting education and family engagement programs help women rebuild healthy relationships, while aftercare and alumni networks offer continued peer support. Through its blend of structure, compassion, and empowerment, Wayside House helps women create meaningful, sustainable lives in recovery.
