Residential treatment is dedicated exclusively to women and delivered through a trauma-focused lens. This approach helps create a safe, judgment-free space for women healing from substance use, trauma, and co-occurring conditions. The all-female environment supports a sense of emotional safety and peer connection, particularly for women who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, difficulty relating to others in day-to-day situations, and chronic stress. This gender-specific focus is central to how healing is supported.

Treatment for Often-Overlooked Conditions

Conditions are addressed that often accompany or complicate substance use but are frequently left untreated. For women struggling with codependency, therapy focuses on boundary-setting and rebuilding self-worth. Those with eating disorders receive support in a nonjudgmental environment that emphasizes nutrition, body image healing, and trauma-informed care. Treatment for sex addiction includes strategies to manage compulsive behaviors, which are often linked to mental illness, unresolved trauma or emotional pain.

A Private, Restorative Setting for Recovery

The center is housed in a private residence in the Missouri countryside, offering a soothing healing environment. Women have the option of private or shared rooms with queen-sized beds and private bathrooms. The setting includes an 1,800-square-foot fitness and yoga facility, an in-ground pool, and a barn dedicated to art and music therapy. The large surrounding outdoor space features fireside patios and designated areas for smoking and vaping. Healthy meals are prepared by on-site chefs, supporting both physical and mental recovery.

Evidence-Based, Holistic, and Targeted Therapies

Along with evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy, including 12-step groups, the center offers a range of additional therapies. Mindfulness-Based Therapy and yoga aim to ground women in the present moment. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy emphasizes strengths and short-term goals. The Gottman Method supports relationship healing, while Narrative Therapy helps clients reframe their personal stories. Acupuncture is used during detox and treatment to ease withdrawal symptoms, reduce stress, and promote emotional balance.
