Medication management alongside various services

Multiple services are available at the same location, including adult outpatient care, adult psychiatry, and community services. MAT may be combined with counseling, vocational training, and connections to community resources. The medication process includes education about why a medication is recommended, its expected benefits, possible risks and side effects, and whether there are any alternatives. A physical exam, lab testing, or specialist consultation may also be required. Clients can access a pharmacy at the same location.

Practical recovery support beyond counseling and medication

In addition to MAT and counseling, the program also offers case management support to help clients meet real-life needs, including transportation assistance, housing services, and connections to other community resources. Peer support and social skills development can also help prepare clients for life outside of treatment.

Treatment starts with an assessment-led entry into care

To begin treatment, clients can just walk into the clinic. Staff evaluate clients’ needs, identify the appropriate services, and offer support with insurance information and scheduling follow-up appointments. Clients should bring a complete medication list or their medication bottles, a list of allergies, and recent hospital discharge paperwork if applicable.
