Specialized care is provided for LGBTQIA+ clients, veterans, first responders, professionals, and college students. This includes therapy components to address trauma history, service background, reintegration challenges, occupational experiences, stress management, and practical daily skills training, depending on personal experiences and needs.

Individually adapted care

Before treatment begins, clients complete admissions assessments so staff can evaluate their medical needs, mental health background, life situation details, and personal recovery goals. Prior experiences with substance use and relapse are also assessed. Based on all this information combined, clinicians develop a care plan to fit each clients’ unique needs. These plans can be adjusted as clients progress or experience challenges along the way.

Mental health focus

Reign Residential Treatment Center treats primary mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar and other mood disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, and PTSD. Clients can receive treatment for these whether or not they have a co-occurring substance use disorder. Those that do need dual diagnosis care receive attention for both conditions at once, rather than looking at them in isolation.

Evidence-based therapies and holistic approaches

Proven approaches used by therapists include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). These are complemented by holistic activities like art and music therapy, fitness, and yoga. This combination can help clients reduce stress and express emotions nonverbally.

Aftercare and alumni support

Each client receives a personalized discharge plan before they return home. Depending on client needs, these can include referrals to outpatient treatment, outside therapy and mental health services, community resources, and local support groups. Clients also leave treatment with a toolkit of relapse prevention strategies that they can use in day-to-day life, and become part of a lifetime alumni network to stay connected to peers and recovery resources.
