Affordable Recovery for Women in Crisis

The center offers women, especially mothers facing housing instability or trauma, a supportive place to recover while rebuilding their lives. The program includes residential treatment followed by sober housing with meals, outpatient treatment, and daily routines that promote stability and healing. Women participate in counseling, recovery groups, and life-skills training. Access to parenting support, psychiatric care, and case management is available. The program helps women move toward independence in a safe, community-oriented setting that honors their experiences and supports long-term recovery.

Trauma-Informed and Whole-Person Focused

The center’s approach is rooted in compassion and clinical best practices. Care plans include individual and group counseling, trauma-focused care, daily recovery meditation, 12-step facilitation, and educational groups on topics like emotional well-being, anger management, and relapse prevention. The program also provides treatment for women with co-occurring mental health conditions. Medication management is provided for eligible clients, including a full range of FDA-approved medications for addiction treatment (MAT). While detox is not available onsite, referrals to detox can be provided as needed.

Specialized Support for Pregnant and Postpartum Women

Targeted care is provided for women navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Expecting and new mothers receive additional care coordination and access to recovery-focused peer support, helping them stabilize in a safe, substance-free environment. This compassionate approach ensures that each woman’s treatment honors her past while preparing her for long-term recovery and family reunification. Case management is available to help women navigate housing, employment, and social services.

Sober Living After Residential Treatment

For women who complete the residential program, the option to continue in long-term sober living is provided. This program emphasizes structure and accountability. Residents must attend recovery meetings including 12-step groups, maintain employment, and pay rent on time. These expectations are part of a supportive community model that reinforces long-term healing and prepares women for a return to independent living.

Founded from Arkansas’ earliest Alcoholics Anonymous groups, the center has decades of experience supporting recovery in the local community. The Sibley Center is CARF-accredited and operated by a non-profit that prioritizes inclusion and access to care. Peer support, family education on Sundays, and transportation assistance help ensure women don’t have to navigate recovery alone.
